The society was founded in 1989 by F A Patterson, then Managing Director of the Royal Society of Medicine with Mr Tony Parsons as inaugural Chairman. It is dedicated to advancing education in all matters related to the Menopause, through lectures, conferences, meetings and exhibitions.
